Aliah University has been conducting Vocational Training programme for Skill Development in various courses in collaboration with a number of well-reputed and well-established government and non-government organizations. This programme has been taken up as a project from the Department of Minority Affairs and Madrasah Education, Govt. of West Bengal. It is meant for the school/college drop-outs (or who cannot afford higher education) among the minority communities residing in different districts of West Bengal including Kolkata. 90 % of the course fees of this programme will be borne by the Government and only 10% of the same will have to be paid by the trainee.
